The Sawed-off BK-18 is a sawed-off single shot rifle in DayZ Standalone. Created from a BK-18 and a Hacksaw, the Sawed-off BK-18 is a concealable, early-game, tier 1 rifle chambered in 7.62x39mm Rounds.
Overview
The Sawed-off BK-18 is a sawed off single-shot break-barrel rifle from Baikal. This staple of Russian sportsman comes in many calibers. This version will fire a single 7.62x39mm round. As the name implies, the Sawed-off BK-18 is considerably shorter than the standard BK-18, having a large portion of the barrel and stock cut off. Because of this, the rifle has a much lower profile and can be stored inside backpacks and other storage containers. However, this comes at the cost of an incredibly reduced effective range and much higher recoil.
