The Matches, or Matchbox, is a type of equipment in DayZ. They can be used to light fires, or torches. Matches cannot be used to start a fire when exposed to rain. As of 1.12 Matches can be combined with other boxes of matches, but a single box can not be split.

- The design of the box and the name "Scubamond" are based on the American toothpick, match and firestarter brand "Diamond".
