The Leather Hat is a type of hat in DayZ. It can be crafted by using tanned leather and a leather sewing kit. It's possible to brown or blacken the hat by using oak bark or nails inside of an oil barrel that contains water.

NOTE: Coloring of leather must be done inside of an Oil Barrel with water.
NOTE: If more than 2 nails are used, then a varied amount of extras will be consumed as well.
