The Ice Axe is a type of weapon and piece of equipment in DayZ Standalone.
General
The Ice Axe is one of the more powerful melee weapons and can kill zombies in two hits, or one with a headshot. It can also be used to open cans of food, at the cost of durability and a portion of the food inside. This axe is also a mining tool that can be used to mine boulders for Stones, and you can also use it to make a farming plot.
