The Glow Plug is a vehicle repair component in DayZ. It is one of several parts necessary to get a M1025 or Transit Bus in running order.

Specifically, glow plugs are electrical heating devices used in diesel engines to aid starting the combustion process, and, presumably, this type of glow plug in particular is necessary for the Transit Bus and M1025 Humvee's diesel engine to start in the generally cold Chernarussian climate.
