City Police Stations are large structures in DayZ that often contain high-tier police loot.

General[ | ]

The larger, more established counterpart to the Village Police Station, these concrete buildings have many rooms on multiple floors, including a holding cell, armoury, and several offices. It can often be observed from a long distance due to its scale.

These stations will spawn a lot of police loot throughout its many rooms, including medium-tier firearms such as the CR75, the IJ-70, and the CR-61 Skorpion. Because of this, a City Police Station will often be visited by freshly spawned Survivors who are looking for a weapon and ammo to defend themselves, which makes both of the police station variants a frequent target for Bandits who are sniping visitors from nearby rooftops and hills.

In some cities, police cars may be found near these stations that may contain basic medical and police supplies in their general vicinity.

History[ | ]

Prior to the outbreak, these stations likely acted as departmental headquarters, with the location in Chernogorsk showing that training of officers may have taken place. The abundance of offices and reception area also implies that they acted as hubs between smaller police stations. With the downfall of the government and their institutions devoted to defending the populace, these buildings contain only bare desks and abandoned cells.

Locations[ | ]

The locations for these larger stations are mostly confined to cities. Below is a map outlining the positioning, with stations being highlighted with a blue shield and white star.
