Replying to the above, this makes sense, but it would be a very specific category. Balata Tents can already be categorised in 'removed or replaced', as there are no longer tents there. The Tulga Ski Resort can also be categorised as such because it is no longer present. However, Mamino and Smirnovo haven't disappeared entirely, leaving empty fields in their wake, they're just no longer towns in their own right - they've been dissolved into their neighboring cities. Designating them as 'removed or replaced' would imply that there are no buildings where the town was, which is false, and these are the only cases of areas that still exist in the world, but are no longer named. It is much more logical in my opinion to simply add a note to the towns of [[Novodmitrovsk]] and [[Severograd]] mentioning the old towns, and remove or archive the articles. I am satisfied with the above suggestion to acknowledge Mamino and Smirnovo in the pages of their respective larger towns of Severograd and Novodmitrovsk, provided that they are given adequate recognition and that their current status is clearly explained. Should this be their fate, the referenced articles could then be removed without hesitation. However, should this solution not come to fruition I do not believe it would be appropriate to completely remove any mention of the towns from the wiki and as such their existing pages would have to be heavily modified to make plain their ''de facto'' integration with their larger neighbours. However, should this solution not come to fruition I do not believe it would be a proportional measure to entirely remove all reference to them from the wiki, given that their names are a very unique and exceptional case of cut content. Similar to Smirnovo, this location is no longer referenced in the chernarusplus 'config.cpp' file, nor is it signposted. Therefore, I am suggesting this page for deletion as marking it as 'Historical Content' would imply that nothing exists in that area, which is false, but keeping it as it is is also not accurate, as it does not exist as a settlement in its own right and is now part of Severograd as it is within the greater area. Mamino Deletion[]

Whilst I would agree that Mamino is something of a Schrodinger's Settlement, I do believe that preserving it would be of value to the community in the long run. Hence, I propose the creation of a new category for legacy locations that, in addition to Mamino, could also include locations such as Smirnovo, Balota Tents, the Tulga Ski Resort etc. Swatsy4665 (talk) 19:07, 8 October 2020 (UTC)

Doesn't fit into a category[]

It is much more logical in my opinion to simply add a note to the towns of Novodmitrovsk and Severograd mentioning the old towns, and remove or archive the articles.
