Simurg (Russian: Симург, a mythical creature) is a small, rocky hill located in the west of South Zagoria. Adjacent to Bolshoy Kotel, it stands at 338 meters in elevation at its highest point, making it the 15th tallest point in the region. It may be eponymous of Ataman Simurg, a historical figure involved in the conquest of Devils Castle[1].
The area is host to a hiking trail running alongside a Pub, and consists mostly of uneven, grassy terrain and light conifer coverage.
