The Pickaxe is a bladed melee weapon and multipurpose tool in DayZ Standalone. Often overlooked for its large size and perceived lack of functionality, the Pickaxe deals some of the highest amount of damage in melee combat. With a range matching both the Firefighter Axe and Splitting Axe, the Pickaxe is a dangerous weapon.
