The Chernogorsk Town Hall was a building that could be found in the city of Chernogorsk. During the 0.60 update, it was removed and replaced with the newer city hall building that was originally added to the game in Novodmitrovsk. In a strange twist of fate, this old building was used as a placeholder in Novodmitrovsk when that city was initially being put together and the new city hall building was not yet ready.

This old building was one of the few that did not receive any updates over the course of development, and did not at any point have a true interior for players to occupy. This location also did not spawn any loot.

Trivia

  • This building was in DayZ Standalone from its initial conception until the release of Stable update 0.60.133516.
  • The old city hall has been a part of Chernarus since the map's creation for the game ArmA II (Operation Red Harvest).
  • At one point during the development of DayZ, it was possible to climb on top of the building. It was later removed because the animation didn't fit for a player climbing up a thin pipe.
