They can also be found on dead zombies. Once consumed, the will restore about 15% of the Player's hunger bar and restore a small amount of Blood, and are the most commonly used type of food, found in all loot areas. However, it is recommended to obtain and cook some meat from Animals, as Meat is far more nutritious and will restore more Hunger and Blood. There are at least 20 different types of canned goods, some of which also restore some Hydration upon consumption.
