The Metal Wire is a type of equipment in DayZ Standalone. It is used in Crafting alongside other items to create tools for the player, such as a gate.
They can also be used to restrict an individual's ability to resist or use objects by restraining their wrists, much like Handcuffs or Duct Tape.
