Medical Tents were medium-sized green military tents with a red cross on their sides. They were found in Military Camps among other Military Tents. They were a prime source of medical equipment within the military zones, and are therefore a target for survivor activity.

There were two Medical Tents located in Chernarus long-term:

A third could be found for a few brief builds during 0.61 Experimental:

Trivia[ | ]

  • These tents were in the game from its initial release in Early Access (0.28) up through the Experimental period of version 0.61. They were removed in 0.61.136403 as part of the remodeling that occurred at each of the two places where it could be found (Myshkino, Vybor Air Base).
  • A third location temporarily contained one of these tents: the evacuation site near Sosnovka. It was only located here briefly in the early period of testing on the Experimental branch, removed alongside the others later in the testing period with the addition of new military camps around the map. This particular camp could be seen as a sort of "prototype" for the others that followed.
  • Though it might not have never actually functioned, the menu option remained to "heal" yourself when interacting with a Medical Tent. There is anecdotal evidence that it may have restored your bone stat, but this was hard to prove at the time because this stat was not as well understood or developed. This interaction was eventually removed entirely, and was also a holdover from Arma II.
  • Also known as a "M.A.S.H." tent.
