Note: this page covers the Standalone version of DayZ; for information on the Mod, see Mod:Krasnostav. Krasnostav is a large town in the northeast portion of Chernarus nearest to the Krasnostav Airstrip.
General
There are three main roads heading out of the city (one heading east, one heading west and one heading south) and the city itself is situated in a valley between Ostry, Black Mountain, and Khelm.
Generally speaking, this town is still somewhat dangerous despite the de-militarization of the Krasnostav Airstrip. The reason for this is Krasnostav's strategic location in the northeast as a travel route amongst Berezino, Svetloyarsk, Chernaya Polana, and Novodmitrovsk. The town itself also has good loot, including a medical center and a police station.
