It is used as an external and separate means of storing items from the player's main inventory and therefore makes the player able to carry more items.

- Although the Hunting Backpack carries less than the 35 slot Mountain Backpack, some players favor it as its model is less prominent in size and color, attracting less visual attention from other players.
