The Wire Mesh Barrier is a type of base building equipment introduced in DayZ. It no longer spawns as of 1.08.

The Wire Mesh Barrier is a deployable static fortification. You can use this to start your camp.
Use[ | ]
The flat-packed box is found in Chernarus. The box can be deployed in the world, where the player can fill the barrier with dirt using a Shovel or Field Shovel. The box when filled cannot be picked up, and requires the player to empty the box in order to move it.
