An Alcohol Tincture is used to clean wounds or scratches, and is also used before taking a blood transfusion or saline to clean the spot for a needle -- though you can't yet get sick/infected by blood transfusions as of version 0.61.
This item can be used to clean Rags and return them to pristine condition again. It can also be used to give players food poisoning if ingested.

- The ALFA brand on the bottle is a reference to a real-life brand of alcohol tincture from the Czech Republic, known as Alpa, that is widely available.
- Drinking a full alcohol tincture gives the player 0 energy and 200 water, but of course also gives food poisoning as a result.
