Wooden Stick is a piece of Equipment, that can be used to craft fireplace kits, improvised backpacks, splints and sharpened sticks.

Wooden Stick are rarely found while looting, but they can be found on the forest floor ("Search for Kindling"), cut down from bushes("chop for kindling") and split from chopped down Firewood. To split up a piece of firewood, you'll first need to chopping down a tree using either a Splitting Axe or Firefighter Axe, then use the axe to split the firewood(drag one over the other) for three sets of wooden sticks.

Using the fire / swing weapon (default LMB) on a bush will cause the bush to fall down but will not yield any sticks. In order to create sticks press the use key (default "F" or scroll wheel click) when the "chop for kindling" prompt appears.
