[edit] Rearming Huey Door Guns
Is it possible to reload the M240 machine guns on the side doors? I was ingame on a server that had recently been hacked, so there were a ton of helos around. Two friends and I jumped in one and flew off, but there was no ammo in either of the side guns. However, we stopped shortly after to loot another helo we found and it had ammo in the side guns. - In the vanilla ArmA 2 you would land the helicopter near an ammo supply point and the ammo would be loaded automatically (similar to vehicle repair trucks and fuel supply trucks) there is no such thing in DayZ and the chopper being the only vehicle with weapons on it makes me think there isn't really a way to reload ammo on it... How long does it take till the helicopter respawns?

[edit] Flying Tips
Inverting the y-axis of your mouse in the settings is advised for flying, as well as remapping flight controls for what you are most comfortable with.
Landing the Huey on a non-flat surface can result in damage to the Main Rotor. It is advised you only land on level ground and wait for rotors to reach speed before trying to take off.
Using the third person view may be helpful with maneuvering (if the server has it enabled).
Double tap left alt so you can look around. This may help because it disables mouse flight controls, which some players may find difficult to use.
If you have enough height and you need to land just use auto-hover to slow you down. You can then make minute adjustments using the 'aswd' keys before you land.
[edit] Unconfirmed Capacity Changes
There have been a lot of changes to the fuel capacity and number of Jerry Cans required to fully fuel a Huey, often followed by those changes being undone or questioned. Would it be out of line to request that no further changes be made unless the contributor can also provide specific and authentic confirmation that those changes are accurate (e.g., dev forum post)? - Christopher (talk) 17:06, 10 August 2012 (UTC)

The Huey has more item slots than 20. Thats why i have added a + to the item slot number. Im not sure whats the max item slot number i will check the next server restart.

Can't do it since vehicles were not saving .
