The survivor will need to stay hydrated. You can find a Canteen or Soda Can and they can be used to hydrate the survivor. The Canteen icon in inventory will have a red line over it when it is empty. The Canteen (right vertical bar) will flash red when you are dehydrated/dehydrating. The Canteen can be refilled from lakes, ponds, or wells — seawater cannot be used to refill a Canteen.
Provides nourishment to a hungry player and can be found as Loot.
Bandages are used to stop bleeding. Bleeding occurs from being hit, shot, or falling. Not treating a bleeding wound causes the survivor to lose 200 blood per second. Blood can be replenished with food, which gives the survivor 200 units of blood. If the survivor injures his legs by being shot or falling, then they risk breaking bones. This can be cured with Morphine Auto Injectors. Painkillers cancel pain which is caused by taking a considerable amount of damage and will cause the game to create a blurry/shaky vision.
The Bandit term is referred to players who kill survivors for supplies.

Additional Survivor Tips
Watch out for survivors carrying scoped weapons, these kind of players are rarely out there to kill zombies
Male Survivors have 3 different skins (Female Survivors have one), all of which consist of a black baseball cap and tactical vest. Survivor skins are not saved with character data and can change on every server log in. Skins also differ for each player: For example if you look at yourself and see a black shirt, that doesn't mean that other players see you in a black shirt as well.
