The MP5 is a 9mm submachine gun, designed by Heckler & Koch. It is suited to CQC situations, when over penetration needs to be avoided, and where a compact fully-automatic weapon is required. This variant, the MP5SD, is equipped with a sound suppressor, allowing it to be fired in close proximity of zombies without alerting them to your presence.
The MP5SD is the 2nd quietest weapon in the game, only bested by the crossbow.
