The MP5A5 is a 9mm submachine gun, designed by Heckler & Koch. It is suited to CQC situations, when over penetration needs to be avoided, and where a compact fully-automatic weapon is required.
The MP5A5 has three firing modes in Day Z: Semi-automatic, 3-round burst, and Full-automatic which can be switched between using 'F'. It can also be loaded with G17 magazines, another 9x19mm magazine.
The ironsights provided on the weapon are rather small and hinder the view of what is to the sides of the target; due to this, the weapon is recommended for close range encounters.
