The Head Torch allows the user to have a head-mounted lightsource while their hands remain free for other tasks. It requires a 9V Battery to function.
This is a very effective item for nighttime functions, but you must be wary that your light gives away your position to others players. The red Head Torch has a significantly dimmer bulb than its counterpart, but it isn’t as noticeable if someone is using night vision.
The red and white Head Torch can be distinguished by the type of head band. The red Head Torch has a black head strap, while the white Head Torch has a blue head strap.
The Head Torch can be worn in the eyewear slot, allowing you to also wear other hats and helmets. It will also consume 0.01 energy per second and therefore consumes one battery every 83 minutes of active use.

- The headtorch was originally invented for use in coal mines, allowing for safer light than the old-school fire lantern. This had a side effect of also allowing two handed mining, and the headtorch was soon adopted in disaster relief and emergency response units for that very reason.
