The FN FAL is a Belgian battle rifle designed and manufactured at the Fabrique Nationale Herstal plant. It is chambered in 7.62x51 NATO, and has seen use all over the world; from being in the hands of British soldiers during Falkland War to conflicts in Rhodesia, it has proven to be accurate and reliable. It may only be found in helicopter wrecks.
Although this variant is only equipped with aperture iron sights, the length of the barrel combined with a relatively slim front post allows the shooter to accurately engage targets at or beyond 400m. A center mass hit may be lethal at over double the range.
