The Kolt 1911 is a type of weapon in DayZ Standalone. It is a potent sidearm which fires .45 Automatic Colt Pistol rounds, the highest-caliber pistol ammunition in the game. While many players favor the FNX45 thanks to its much greater magazine capacity (fifteen rounds, as opposed to seven in the 1911), the 1911 boasts more easily-located magazines as well as superior accuracy. Both weapons suffer from ammunition rarity, as .45 ACP rounds are uncommon.
