Windy Mountain (Russian: Ветреная Гора, Vetrenaya Gora) is a large hill in western South Zagoria near the village of Bor. At 311m in elevation it is the joint 20th highest point in the region, along with Koman near Myshkino.
General[ | ]
Windy Mountain is the low, flattened hill that casts a shadow over the village of Bor. The village itself is already somewhat out of the way for most travelers, and the mountain even more so as they are both only easily accessed via small roads from Drozhino, Kozlovka, Komarovo, or Pavlovo. Aside from the small town it helps protect and the others nearby, there are also a few buildings at the base of the hill on the southeast side.
